refers to hemp oil that has had certain terpenes and/or cannabinoids removed—usually THC—but still contains more than a pure isolated compound. FlowerChild’s products are not broad-spectrum, because we believe full-spectrum is superior. Broad spectrum products are often pieced together using isolates and adding terpenes that might not have even come from hemp in the first place.

Isolates

refer to an isolated compound that has been stripped from the rest of the plant. They take the plant, extract the CBD (or whichever cannabinoid they are targeting), then further refine it into a powder containing only crystallized CBD molecules. Isolates are the most ineffective form of cannabis. Although they do offer relief to some people, they do nothing for many others, since there is no longer synergy between the plant compounds. FlowerChild does not use isolates for this reason.
