Peppermint or Natural?

Our CBG 700 Tincture is available in two varieties: Peppermint or Natural. The only difference is that our Natural has two ingredients: hemp extract and grape seed oil, and the Mint has three: hemp extract, grape seed oil, and pure, certified organic peppermint oil.

We believe that nature designed the cannabis plant to have a multitude of cannabinoids and terpenes for a reason: because they are meant to be consumed together.

Many companies make their products with CBD that has been stripped of all other compounds. They often purchase isolated terpenes and cannabinoids separately, then add them back together so they can market their products as broad-spectrum—but piecing plant compounds back together will never create a product that is as potent as one that has never been ripped apart to begin with. Broad-spectrum

refers to hemp oil that has had certain terpenes and/or cannabinoids removed—usually THC—but still contains more than a pure isolated compound. FlowerChild’s products are not broad-spectrum, because we believe full-spectrum is superior. Broad spectrum products are often pieced together using isolates and adding terpenes that might not have even come from hemp in the first place.

Isolates

refer to an isolated compound that has been stripped from the rest of the plant. They take the plant and extract pure CBD (or whichever cannabinoid they are targeting), ending up with a powder that is then mixed into a carrier oil. Isolates are the most ineffective form of CBD or CBG. Although they do offer relief to some people, they do nothing for other people, since all the other healing compounds hemp offers have been removed. FlowerChild does not use isolates for this reason.

→ Cold-pressed grape seed oil

is hexane and solvent free, which makes for a healthy, safe carrier oil that has a neutral taste and is highly absorbable. Grape seed oil is high in Omega 6 fatty acids, which play a crucial role in brain function and development.
